We conceived the traffic apocalypse that was LA’s ‘Maisel Day,’ as well as a variety of executions leading to 20 Emmy Nominations.
An Emmy Winning Strategy
With 2019’s comedy Emmys stacked with sarcastic, dark, and nihilistic characters, we built a campaign strategy inspired by the show’s unbridled confidence in its own positivity.
Maisel Day
We pitched and sold the idea for ‘Maisel Day’, a celebration that would have prices across Los Angeles rolled back to what they were in 1959.
It led to some crazy fan love, even crazier traffic jams, and a Clio Grand for the Amazon Prime Video Creative Marketing Team.
A Takeover Worth Spinning
One stand-out execution was our Variety Magazine cover takeover where we surprised subscribers with a real and playable Flexi disc adhered to the inside of a layered cover all made to look and feel like a 1959 comedy album.
