A multi-room interactive theater spectacular to celebrate the release of Blizzard’s newest Hearthstone Adventure

When Blizzard Entertainment wants to throw a party for a new disco-themed adventure release of Hearthstone, it can’t be anything short of magical. But how could we possibly amaze the Hearthstone super-fans and gaming press always two steps ahead of it all?

Simple:

With an immersive theatre experience that transported guests directly into the setting of the new Hearthstone adventure.

A Real, Live, Fantasy Disco

We fully fabricated seven rooms from the ground up– transforming a loft space in downtown Los Angeles into a mystically groovy tower to put on an interactive theater spectacular– all to be experienced by hundreds of thousands of fans across both Twitch and FB Live.

A Cast of Characters

With a cast of over 15 actors performing a combination of improv and character acting, our evening offered a multitude of interactive experiences. The Opera House hosted multiple performances throughout the night, a playable life-sized chess board whose pieces had sprung to life in Gamesman’s Hall, while the Grand Ballroom held a full sized disco dance floor complete with disco ball.

But it’s not the fabricated props or the web stream stats we’re most proud of. We invited the most hardcore ‘seen it all before’ gamers to our party, and we still managed to exceed every expectation of what a Hearthstone experience can be. Now that’s some real magic.
